Porsche Cayenne 3.6L Dual Flex Pipe Replacement for Toronto & the GTA

Fusion Motorsport Fabrications provides professional Porsche Cayenne 3.6L dual flex pipe replacement for owners throughout Toronto, Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area. All work is performed at our specialized fabrication facility in Pickering, Ontario.

We replace both exhaust flex pipes for $1,660 CAD plus HST.

  • Service price: $1,660 CAD
  • HST: $215.80
  • Total including HST: $1,875.80 CAD
  • Both flex pipes are included

Pricing assumes the surrounding exhaust pipes, catalytic converters and connections remain suitable for repair. If we discover additional damage, we will explain the issue and obtain your approval before performing further work.

Why We Replace Both Flex Pipes

The two flex pipes are exposed to similar mileage, heat cycles and operating conditions. When one flex pipe fails, the other may already be deteriorated or approaching failure.

Replacing both flex pipes during the same appointment avoids leaving a similarly aged component in place, reduces the likelihood of a second exhaust leak and prevents the customer from paying for overlapping labour again.

For these reasons, our Cayenne 3.6L service always replaces both flex pipes as a pair.

A Focused Alternative to Porsche OEM Replacement

For many Porsche Cayenne applications, Porsche does not supply the flex pipes as separate replacement components. A Porsche Centre may instead replace the larger OEM catalytic-converter and exhaust-pipe assemblies containing the flex sections.

Replacing both sides through Porsche using complete OEM assemblies can cost upwards of $7,000 CAD once parts and labour are included. The final dealership price depends on the vehicle’s model year, generation and exhaust configuration.

Our specialized repair replaces both failed or deteriorated flex sections while retaining the serviceable original catalytic converters and exhaust components. This is not the same scope as replacing complete Porsche assemblies, but it offers Cayenne owners a focused and substantially more affordable solution when the surrounding components remain in good condition.

Signs of Failed Porsche Cayenne Flex Pipes

Your Porsche Cayenne 3.6L may require flex pipe replacement if you notice:

  • Ticking or hissing underneath the vehicle
  • A louder exhaust sound during cold starts or acceleration
  • Exhaust fumes or unusual odours
  • Vibration or rattling from the exhaust system
  • Black soot around a flex pipe or nearby weld
  • A check-engine light that may be related to an exhaust leak
  • Visible cracking, separation or fraying of the flex sections

Similar symptoms can also be caused by damaged flanges, gaskets, welds or other exhaust components. We inspect the system before beginning the repair.

What the Dual Flex Pipe Replacement Includes

  • Inspection of both flex pipes and the surrounding exhaust system
  • Removal of both original or previously repaired flex sections
  • Inspection of the adjacent tubing, welds, flanges and supports
  • Preparation of the existing exhaust piping
  • Installation of two correctly sized replacement flex pipes
  • Proper alignment to reduce unnecessary stress and movement
  • Required fabrication and welding
  • Inspection of exhaust hangers and surrounding clearances
  • Final inspection for exhaust leaks

Porsche Cayenne 3.6L Fitment

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you replace both Porsche Cayenne 3.6L flex pipes?

Yes. Our $1,660 service includes replacement of both exhaust flex pipes during the same appointment.

Why not replace only the leaking flex pipe?

Both flex pipes have normally experienced similar mileage, age and heat exposure. Replacing only one can result in another appointment and repeated labour when the remaining flex pipe fails.

Does the complete exhaust system need to be replaced?

In many cases, both flex sections can be replaced without changing the complete exhaust or catalytic-converter assemblies. This depends on the condition of the surrounding pipes, welds, flanges and converters.

Why can the Porsche repair cost more than $7,000?

Porsche may replace complete catalytic-converter and exhaust-pipe assemblies rather than the individual flex sections. The cost of two OEM assemblies, associated hardware and dealership labour can push the total above $7,000 CAD.

How much does your Porsche Cayenne 3.6L repair cost?

Replacement of both flex pipes is $1,660 CAD plus HST, or $1,875.80 including HST. Additional exhaust repairs are quoted separately if other damage is discovered.
